This installation is part of the #hopeandhealingcanada project created by Métis artist Tracey-Mae Chambers. The site-specific artwork uses intricate red yarn in crochet, knit, and woven forms to explore themes of settler-Indigenous relations, reconciliation, and hope.Chambers has installed over 100 of these temporary pieces across Canada, often at museums, galleries, and former residential school sites.Once dismantled, the yarn is returned to the artist to be reworked and repurposed for future installations.

Thank you, yes, an important reminder
